
GRAN FONDO ARGENTINA SECURITY MEASURES
The organizers of the Gran Fondo Argentina work constantly to guarantee that the race takes place in the best possible conditions, prioritizing the health and safety of the runners, staff and the attending public. We ask that you read these measures carefully before registering.
EMERGENCY PROTOCOL
The health operation will be carried out by a company with extensive experience in medical care for massive attended sporting events. We will have seven UTIM ambulances, strategically distributed along the circuit, and paramedics on motorcycles who will travel the route to provide immediate assistance.
SECURITY PROTOCOL
The Gran Fondo Argentina security protocol will be made up of 96 officers from the Motorized Police of the City of Buenos Aires and more than 20 agents from the City's Traffic Agent Corps.
The actions will be coordinated from the AUSA Monitoring Center, which has more than 600 cameras located along the route to guarantee real-time monitoring.
FEED STATIONS
There will be two Feed Stations along the circuit, where cyclists can receive medical attention, hydration and food to replenish energy and satisfy their nutritional needs.
CANCELLATION POLICY
In the event that the authorities of the Argentine Republic order the cancellation of the race due to the COVID-19 pandemic, each registered rider will receive a credit valid for two years to participate in the next edition of the Gran Fondo Argentina.
