GRAN FONDO ARGENTINA

The Gran Fondo Argentina is a race you’ll never forget…

Specially designed for cyclists of all ages, fitness levels, and abilities, the race takes place on a 90-km circuit closed to traffic that winds through the most iconic spots in the city of Buenos Aires. The first riders to cross the finish line in the overall classification, by age group, or in pairs receive winner’s medals; however, “everyone wins” by living their dreams and achieving their own goals.

The event features all the hallmarks of professional races, such as a mass start by category, timing chips to record each rider’s split and total times, aid stations (food, drinks, and assistance), and medical and mechanical support. Hundreds of riders, spectators, and volunteers give the competition a unique and very special atmosphere.

LONG, MEDIUM, AND SHORT COURSES

The Gran Fondo Argentina offers courses of varying distances: 90 km and 45 km; the goal is for riders of all skill levels to enjoy a unique experience through the city streets. Every rider who crosses the finish line receives a finisher’s medal, regardless of which course they ride. The Gran Fondo and Medio Fondo award jerseys to the overall winners and the winners of each category, as well as prizes and medals to the podium finishers.

ARGENTINA GRAN FONDO JERSEY

The official race jersey is the hallmark of Gran Fondo Argentina. The jersey features a simple yet meticulously crafted design that incorporates, in a minimalist style, some of our city’s iconic landmarks and the colors of Gran Fondo. Each year, our design team will create a new design, giving the jersey—and each race—a unique and special character.

In terms of technical features, it is an extremely lightweight and ergonomic jersey that hugs the body without being too tight or restrictive. It is made with high-end materials using lightweight, breathable fabrics that wick away moisture and provide sun protection. It features an internal silicone band and a triple rear pocket to store everything you need during the race.
