On October 12, 2025, the second edition of the “Formula ProBike Ciudad Buenos Aires” will take place, a single-stage road cycling race (classic) to be held on the same day and on the same circuit as the Gran Fondo Argentina, with the only difference being that the Formula ProBike cyclists will start 5 minutes before the rest of the competitors.
This competition format, in which an elite race takes place minutes before a mass-participation Gran Fondo, will provide a unique opportunity for amateur cyclists to measure themselves against the sport’s top performers.
Formula ProBike competitors will be ranked by team and also individually.
Individual cash prizes will be awarded to the first 3 cyclists to cross the finish line, and a team trophy will be awarded to the team that completes the circuit in the shortest time.

Bicycle: road bike
Distance: 124 km
Circuit: same as the Gran Fondo Argentina; completely closed to traffic.
Start Time: 6:00 a.m., 5 minutes before the Gran Fondo cyclists.
Team Size: Minimum of 3 cyclists and maximum of 6.
Categories: There will be a men’s category and a women’s category.
Team Classification: The team classification will be calculated by averaging the net times of the 3 fastest members. In the event of a tie, the time of the best 4th cyclist from the tied teams will be used.
